This was the single BEST vacation (and perhaps that isn't the right word) I've ever taken. It is an organization run by a very headstrong individual that has worked diligently but the logistics of running proper expense reports and planning for expenses or shakedowns from corrupt government officials in Cameroon is unpredictable or I should say was and likely still is.

I should also say that I was relatively mentally unstable and unprepared for the heat and the side effects I would run into with the medications I took at the time. In other words I possibly burned bridges with the kind people I met and it has taken awhile to amend them.

The concept of this organization, the mission statement and what it wants to accomplish is something I have always (outside of complete insanity immediately after returning) stood behind. There are great people in this organization and there are many who need great help there in Cameroon. Opening lines of communication between America and Cameroon is a great thing.
