My husband has been at House of Hope Madisonville since December 2015. He is now working and to my knowledge was given approval by the President of The House of Hope to be allowed to provide financial support to me for our three young children. Shortly after being told by the Director that my husband would be able to help me, he and I have now been told that he cannot. If he does not turn his money into The House of Hope and sends money home to his wife and children he has been told by the director that he must leave The House of Hope. The only explanation given per the Director for this decision is that it is punishment for wrongdoing on my husbands behalf. My children should not be denied financial support as punishment to my husband. Not allowing my husband to help us is hurting the children and jeopardizing their future. I struggle to pay our most basic living expenses on my income alone. I have provided documented proof to House of Hope Madisonville to show that our children do need and should receive financial support from their father. The House of Hope director has been very rude, unprofessional and unconcerned with my struggle to care for my children with no financial support from their father. I cannot understand how a ministry who claims to live by Christian Values could think that this is okay. After reading comments on Madisonville topix forum regarding House of Hope Madisonville, I see that I'm not the first mother this has happened to. What a coincidence that is. Shame on you House of Hope!! Making women and children suffer for your own gain is not nice!! Not nice at all!! God sees you!!!
