We placed our application to adopt a dog with this rescue. We provided the necessary documentation which proved our pet was up to date on rabies and heartworm preventative, only to have the director pick at our choices and keep throwing other things in our face that we should do. We have had 3 dogs that lived to be over 13 years old. You don't have pets that last this long and have done nothing right. It can't be "in the best interest" of the pet to be living in a foster home with 12+ animals (or legal?). I would think that if you have applicants you would try to get this dog placed in a loving home. No one is good enough for this organization and the director makes it impossible to fit the "perfect applicant" for her dogs. Upon placing my application, she made over 5 phone calls to vets on my behalf. But not one time did she pick up the phone and call me to talk about her concerns. Her excuse was that it was too noisy to make a phone call, but yet she could make calls to others and make up excuses why she was denying our application. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else! There are plenty of furry friends out there that need a forever home that are not at this rescue.
