This ministry closed and disbursed all assets when Obama's IRS tagging determined the ministry no longer eligible for non profit status soon after he came into office as president. We called state regarding our status and were told we could reapply. As we have since learned, those who reapplied were put on hold indefinately. We sensed something not right with the whole process so chose to close. We were told that we could pay $100 to close or simply not file and the ministry would be discontinued as far as the state was concerned. The state has not sent us a 990 since then. We had never received enough income within any year that required us to file taxes.
