Sharing Hands has been an important part of a small, rural community for over 30 years serving primarily low income families and those with small children.
Its director is a retired attorney and non-profit professional and has been with the organization for over 20 years. All 5 of their programs are delivered by a dedicated volunteer staff of volunteers with supervision by two paid part-time staff members with over 20 years total experience in non-profit work.
It has been a partner agency of the United Way of Linn County for over 25 years
