The program was geared toward veterans and their families as advertised. The information presented was accurate and participants were allowed to take information home with them to re-read later on.
A Bingo was hosted with valuable prizes, including a big screen TV and American Indian arts. The encampment was free of charge to those of us because the fundraising covered all of the expenses. The only expense was food which each family brought in their own food and camping gear, and donations were accepted for books and T-Shirts.
An announcement was made after the Bingo and Frybread sale advising the public of how much money was earned from the Bingo event.
