I have adopted my last five pets. The last was 15 when he died and two of the others at 13. I still have two of them. I was surprised to learn that You only have five days from the time you pay that $300 fee (The day you pick up the dog.) to get a refund if it does not work out with the animal. Out of all of my pets I only ever had to return one. It took a lot longer than five days for me to figure out that it was just not going to mesh with my dog and that it was going to continue and even increase in it's aggression.in fact it's behavior didn't even start until I had it for 10 days. Kindhearted people who adopt pets want to work out and they want to give an animal longer than five days.most of us… Can't afford to lose a $300 fee either. I thought most places gave a minimum of two weeks and in the case of one of my pets up to two months.while I applaud their background check, I think they need to lengthen the policy of refund.
