Hello, This is Nic Queen President of the Marley Civic League.
I hope everyone's summer is going well! I have an announcement I would like to share with each of you.
As we all know the primary election is over. Thus, we now know the 2 people who are running for County Executive along with our new councilmen. So now is the time for me to announce a project I have been working on, where I need your communities to be involved. The North County Coalition of Communities. This coalition will give us all a much stronger voice with any administration in office, locally and in Annapolis.
I would like for the President and VP or a Representative of each community assoc to attend an initial meeting next Thursday July 5th at Marley Methodist Church at 730 pm. This meeting is designed for us all to meet, greet and discuss how this unification can work. This unification will NOT involve any dues or any change in the structure or operation of your individual associations.
Additionally, if any of you know the contact info for any other community associations in our area, please share this invite to them too.
I really have a good feeling that this unification will be a huge benefit for us all.
Thank You for your time in this matter and I sincerely hope everyone will attend.
