We are a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization (501(c)(3)) dedicated to helping deserving disadvantaged US citizens to acquire marketable skills by attending college, junior college, or vocational training programs. Our goal is to provide supplemental financial assistance to applicants in the form of scholarships. Scholarships are typically awarded in the amount of $1,000 or less per applicant per year.
Scholarship awards are needs-based and given to applicants who could not otherwise afford the educational program they are pursuing. Applicants who partially self-fund their education with part-time or full-time work receive a selection preference. In addition, applicants with honorable military service or other public service receive a selection preference. Finally, applicants who demonstrate positive character traits such as perseverance, focus, and determination are viewed as especially deserving of assistance.
