I am part of your history. I am the g-grandaughter of John Lanier McIver, who was present at the founding of Edgewood Chritian Church. The allied family of Allens were also there.

I am Margaret Louise Drody, dau. of Bernice Alice Floyd who married Harold Orsan Drody there in 1930.
I attended Youth activities in the church as a teen. Rev. J. T. Boone performed the marriage ceremony of my mother and father.

I have been trying to find a picture of my ancestor, John Lanier McIver. It occurred to me that there may have been a picture taken when the ground breaking took place. He was a soldier in the War Between the States, and came home severally wounded. His chin had been shot away and an injured shin turned black.

Have you ever seen any early pictures of church activities that may be included some of my family?
