Kimberly McMahon, our former President, died unexpectedly in March, 2016. As a result, our rescue relocated from Waterbury to Milford CT and, as the previous Vice President, I was elected to lead the rescue through the period of transition and forward.
As a rescue, we help dogs (and a few cats) located primarily in municipal shelters in CT. We also occasionally take owner surrenders. Part of our mission is to help animals who need substantial medical care or training in order to go forward to live happy long lives in wonderful families.
We also work with families to find options to keep their pets when circumstances in their lives make it difficult for them to do so.
FFFR is approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
