Camp Jerod is an extrodinary dream day for children with limitations and disabilities. The kids and their families are able to leave the day to day pressures of caring for those special needs and they are able to gather togather in community with hoses and horse-people who offer these families a full day of respite, but also activities like fishing and educational games, with a comutual love between child, caregiver and yes horse.
Horsemanship classes have shown historically the ability for challenged students to excell in physical and cognitive growth. Children challenged with emotional disabilities or those just having reldtionship and communication issues have benefited enormousely via Cam Jerod.
